THE DOC TEAM IN MONACO: TRENDS IN MODERN YACHTING FROM THE MONACO YACHT SHOW 2025
The THE DOC team once again visited the Monaco Yacht Show, which this year took place from September 24 to 27. Welcome to the most prestigious — and the most expensive — event in the yachting industry! We strolled along the port, enjoying the atmosphere. Of course, it’s impossible to capture everything in one story — you really have to see it for yourself — but here’s how we experienced those days.
The Price of Prestige
Ticket prices reflected the exclusivity of the event: €725 for one day, €1,230 for two, and €1,950 for three.
Omar Cane, CEO of THE DOC Yacht Services and a maritime agent, visited several yachts and stands. This year’s show was filled with business meetings and professional encounters.
Numarine: From Turkey with Love
The Numarine yachts are unmistakable — the very embodiment of the explorer style. They offer generous volumes, wide panoramic views, large windows in the cabins, and floor-to-ceiling windows in the saloon — all designed for comfort and pleasure on board.
In addition to our long-standing clients, with whom we’ve worked for many years, the renowned Turkish shipyard Numarine this year entrusted us to act as agents for several other yachts as well. We provided support for onboard works, assisted with official visits from crew members and authorities, and handled all formal procedures.
Numarine is always attentive to its clients at every stage, including after-sales service. We are proud of the trust placed in us by the shipyard and happy to welcome new clients in our region.
The Explorer Style — Toward New Adventures
As Omar said, “These yachts — this is top class.” Standing next to one, you can’t help but dream — why not set off on an expedition? This is not just another superyacht — it’s the dream of an explorer. A steel hull, high-volume structure, and a two-meter ice belt above and below the waterline grant it a Young Ice 2 classification by Bureau Veritas, allowing it to safely navigate through ice up to 30 cm thick.
Prepared for both transatlantic and Arctic crossings, it follows the paths of polar bears and embodies the spirit of scientific discovery.
A Gentleman’s Welcome aboard Serenissima I
As you step onto the gangway, the captain extends his hand — not just as a greeting, but as an invitation into a world where every detail is meticulously designed.
The superyacht Serenissima I, launched by Mengi Yay in 2024 and featuring exterior design by Nuvolari Lenard, combines a steel hull with an aluminum superstructure. Its name pays homage to the legendary Serenissima — the Republic of Venice, a thousand-year maritime power, whose spirit of strength and grace is reflected in the yacht’s design.
The moment you step aboard, you feel the energy: confidence, determination, life. On the bow, a boxing ring immediately catches your eye.
“This ring also serves as a negotiation table — here, you can settle matters like a gentleman, quickly and decisively,” smiles the captain. It’s easy to believe that deals are closed faster here than anywhere else.
Inside the Gentlemen’s Club lounge, there’s a fold-out balcony and a glass-enclosed wine cellar. Translucent obsidian softly illuminates the collection of wines, rare spirits, and cigars — all displayed without ostentation. And, of course, no gentleman would make his lady wait. The classic Riva Ariston tender swiftly takes you ashore — or, if you wish, on a romantic night cruise along Monaco’s sparkling coast.

Conclusion
The THE DOC Yacht Services team was delighted with this year’s visit — it was an especially productive one.
Today, yachting is no longer about showing off wealth — it’s about Smart Yachting: custom builds, natural materials, and, above all, space. A seamless flow between interior and exterior, decks and living areas merging into one. Balconies, terraces, open salons, and convertible cabins — it’s no longer about being seen, but about feeling free.
Modern yachting is about exploring — even to the farthest corners of the world. It’s about moments shared with friends, genuine conversations, fulfilling long-held dreams, and treating yourself to the best.
And the best thing of all is to be yourself, with a full heart — that’s what yachting truly celebrates.
And what explorer could venture far without trusted support? That’s where the agent comes in. We are always by your side.
